We're always excited to see the latest features and amenities offered for the new model year. With that being said, let's take a look at what's new for both the 4-door sedan and 5-door hatchback versions of the 2015 Subaru Impreza in NJ!
What's New Under the Hood
We wanted to start on something that everyone thinks about: fuel economy. The new Subaru Impreza improves the mileage you can get in every tank of gas by 1 mpg from last year. You can get up to an EPA-estimated 37 mpg highway, 28 mpg city and 31 mpg combined.
Improved fuel economy comes from Subaru's Lineartronic® CVT, which is now standard on the Premium trim level for 2015. That means it's even easier to save on gas in the new Impreza.
What's New Inside
When driving the 2015 Subaru Impreza, you'll definitely feel a difference. For starters, a rear vision camera now comes standard in the Impreza. If you want even more safety, EyeSight® driver assist technology will be available for an extra eye on the road and foot on the brake to help minimize the chance of an accident.
You'll find an upgraded infotainment system inside the new Impreza. Features offered depend on the trim you choose, but the ones available comprise of:
- 4 or 6 speakers
- AM/FM stereo and HD Radio®
- CD player
- Bluetooth®, iPod® control & iTunes® tagging capabilities
- 1 or 2 USB ports
- AhaTM, Pandora® & iHeart® Radio access via Subaru STARLINKTM
- SiriusXM satellite radio capability (optional)
- 7" touchscreen display with multi-touch control (optional)
- Voice command and SMS text messaging capabilities (optional)
- Navigation system with SiriusXM NavTraffic® and NavWeather® capabilities (optional)
You'll also enjoy the look and feel of the sedan and hatchback since upgraded interior trim is offered and design cues such as additional sound deadening & thicker side glass windows make for a quieter ride.
What's New Outside
When you see the new Impreza at our Subaru dealer serving Wayne and Emerson NJ, you’ll find that it looks more similar to the 2015 Subaru Legacy. That's because of its new headlights, front bumper, grille and exterior mirrors. Those mirrors will now have turn signals in the Limited trim and up.
If you opt to get EyeSight® driver assist technology, you'll also get steering-responsive fog lights that automatically switch on the left or right side if more illumination is needed. These lights are actually designed to give more coverage when turning.
The 2015 Subaru Impreza will be available in 2.0i, Premium, Limited, Sport Premium and Sport Limited trim levels when it arrives to our Route 17 dealership location in the very near future. Other trim-specific changes include:
- Cruise control coming standard in the 2.0i
- "Welcome" lighting & an upgraded instrument cluster for the Limited & Sport Limited
- Optional Keyless Access with push-button startup & PIN code access for the 4-door Limited & Sport Limited
