NEW SAFETY TECHNOLOGY
Integrated with Adaptive Cruise Control, Pre-Collision Braking and Lane Departure warning, the Subaru EyeSight Driver Assist monitors traffic movement, optimizes cruise control and even detects when you have swayed outside your line – made possible with the use of mounted cameras. New for 2017, Blind Spot Detection and Rear Cross Traffic Alert will be available on the base WRX STI.
EyeSight is available for the WRX Limited (with Sport Lineartronic transmission) in a package that also includes Navigation and Blind Spot Detection, Lane Change Assist and Rear Cross Traffic Alert. This upgraded technology package also includes a Harman/Kardon amplifier and 9-speaker premium sound system, along with the convenience of Keyless Access and Push-Button Start with Pin Code Access. For those 2017 WRX Limited models that are equipped with EyeSight, Reverse Auto Braking will be included.
Additionally, 2017 WRX and WRX STI models that are equipped with EyeSight Technology will also feature Steering Responsive Fog lights which activates the left or right fog light independently. Steering Responsive Fog lights react to the vehicle's speed and steering angle, and provides enhanced illumination in the direction of the turn, offering maximum coverage through corners.

The 2017 WRX features a standard 268-horsepower Direct-Inject Turbo-charged engine with 6-speed manual transmission with available performance automatic transmission – the Sport Linetronic with manual mode.
