Offering enthusiasts a pure sports car driving experience, when equipped with the standard 6-speed manual transmission, the 2017 Subaru BRZ features an increased-performance 2.0L 4-cylinder Boxer engine, that now offers 205 horsepower and 156 lb/ft of torque vs. 200 horsepower and 151 lb/ft for the engine paired with the available 6-speed automatic transmission.
Providing drivers with precision handling and increased performance, the 2017 BRZ features updated coil springs and dampers, as well as a large rear stabilizer bar. Increasing vehicle rigidity, the BRZ is equipped with additional reinforcements added to the strut tower braces, transmission cross-member plate and rear wheel housing. These adjustments to the 2017 Subaru BRZ offer improved responsiveness, stability and comfort – resulting in changing the name of Sport Mode to Track Mode.
Yellow Limited Edition Bolder Design
Holding true to the classic GT coupe proportions of the Subaru BRZ, the Subaru BRZ Yellow Limited Edition offers an even sportier shape with bolder details for 2017. Redesigned for a widened appearance, the front bumper cover provides improved aerodynamics, control and stability.
Signature style LED headlights offer improved light output while reducing power consumption. Additional LED updates are incorporated into the turn signals, taillights, daytime running lights and available fog lamps.
The 2017 Subaru BRZ Yellow Limited Edition also features a new aluminum rear spoiler adorned in the signature Yellow and black finish on the horizontal surface.
